Summer in Madonna di Campiglio
Madonna di Campiglio is located in a sunny valley, enclosed to the east by the Brenta Dolomites, a Unesco World Heritage site since 2009, and to the west by the Adamello – Presanella mountain group.
Three different ski lift routes set off from the town centre, the 5-Laghi, Spinale and Pradalago, so that within minutes you are presented with a breathtaking panorama. You can also set off on foot, for a closer look at the spectacular nature that surrounds you.
The Grostè cable car is just 1 km from the town centre, and arrives at the start of the Brenta Dolomites in just 20 minutes, from where you can reach the Tuckett and Brentei refuges. In addition to these simple routes, you can also try more challenging excursions in the company of our mountain guides.
Several other outdoor activities can be enjoyed here: recreational fishing in the rivers and mountain lakes, the Campo Carlo Magno 9-hole golf course in the beautiful surroundings of the Dolomites, mountain biking, cycling along the peaceful 20 km Val Rendena cycle path, or the more challenging Brenta Bike Dolomite routes in the company of Enrico, the Stefani family mountain bike instructor, as well as tandem paragliding and mushroom hunting.
However, there’s no need to worry if you’re not so interested in sports, the town centre, with its fashionable shops, bars and restaurants, and the relaxing Conca Verde, will certainly charm you.
If you like driving, in just an hour you can reach Lake Garda or visit Trento, with its beautiful historic centre dominated by Buonconsiglio Castle.
