Winter in Madonna di Campiglio
Madonna di Campiglio is known as a popular ski resort.
The ski season starts in late November and continues until after Easter.
The advantage of Madonna di Campiglio is its convenience, thanks to the three ski lift routes that start from the town centre and allow you to spend the entire day on the snow, in a ski area with 150 km of slopes, connecting Campiglio with Pinzolo (Val Rendena), Folgarida and Marilleva (Val di Sole). Here every type of skier, whether experienced or not, has the opportunity to have fun and enjoy wonderful scenery.
If you have never skied, or simply want to improve your technique, Enrico, the Stefani family ski instructor, awaits you at the Nazionale-Des Alpes ski school, where you can also rent equipment.
If you want to try out other exciting and enjoyable activities, we recommend an excursion on snowshoes, walking with ease across even the deepest snow, ice skating on the frozen lake in the centre of Madonna di Campiglio, ski mountaineering, which offers you a strenuous climb followed by intense and exciting descents on pristine slopes, and cross-country skiing at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites.
If you do not enjoy physical exertion, you can sit comfortably in a sleigh pulled by huskies and ride to a typical chalet to taste the traditional dishes of Trentino.
